Trivia Night

Here at Snookie's Books, we want to help emphasize the importance of community. We believe having a strong community that helps support local businesses and that lifts each other up through many different mediums. Therefore, we hope to help build community through hosting events.

Fall is in the air, and nothing quite reminds us of fall like Harry Potter does! If you are an expert on all things in the wizarding world, have we got quite the event for you!

Introducing our next event: Snookie's Books Harry Potter Trivia Night!  Join us at AppleJax Creations Coffee & Cafe on Saturday, November 23rd for fun, facts, and prizes, as we host a friendly game of trivia.  Support our local business by gathering 1-5 of your closest friends and teaming up to be the last team standing!

Once your team is set, register at this link and be on the lookout for more information regarding payment.  The price is $50 per person,  So if you and your bestie aren't wanting to have any other people on your team, thats perfectly fine! But a $50 payment will still be required.  So a bigger team will not only help you cover more ground, but will also help keep your price per person down!

Q: Where is this located?

A: The same place as last time! We will be at Applejax Creations Coffee & Cafe, located at 312 Liberty Street in Morris, IL.

Q: Will coffee be served?

A: Doors open at 6:00pm and coffee will be served before the event starts, but the game will be starting at 7:00 sharp.

Q: Will you be downstairs again?

A: We plan to stay downstairs, but if we reach a certain number of contestants, we may move upstairs in order to save space.

Q: How many people can be on a team?

A: We will accept a team of as little as 2 people but the maximum number on a team is 6 (this is less than last time in order to feel less cramped). Remember that  we will be covering a wide variety of topics in the Harry Potter sphere, so the more people with different knowledge sets, the better for your team.

Q: How many questions will there be?

A: There will be 10 categories of 10 questions each. 100 questions total.

Q: When do I need to register by?

A: While we would prefer registering early, we will also take registration at the door as well. We will be taking registration up until 30 minutes before the event.

Q: How do I pay?

A: You will receive more information via email after your registration form is complete. We will accept venmo, cashapp, zelle, apple pay, meta pay, or in person payments. Payment must be made prior to the event starting.

Q: Can we all pay separately?

A: In order to keep us organized, we will not be taking payments individually from each individual team member. We ask that one member be designated the "team captain" and that individual is required to pool the team's money and send it over to us.

Q: Is there an age requirement for teams?

A: We will not be ID-ing people at the door, but we would prefer nobody under the age of 16, and the "team captain" who is to be dealing with the payments.

Q: What prizes will there be?

A: Prizes will be revealed at the event. But keep in mind, the higher the turnout, the bigger the prizes will be!
